Here's What's New

The following are the noteworthy changes that have been made to my policies. It is the client’s responsibility to check for changes prior to making additional reservations. Changes go in effect for all clients as soon as the change is published, without prior notice. If you have a concern about how any of the changes may affect you, please Contact Me.

I Care Petcare Becomes a Family Business! On 11/1/11, Sue temporarily moved to Rhinelander to care for aging parents and trained her son, Jason Jones, to take over the business until her return (in approximately a year). Jason recently received an honorable discharge from the United States Army where he was entrusted with "security clearance" and received medical training. Jason was trained personally by Sue in all facets of the petsitting business, so clients can be rest assured that they will receive the same high level of excellent service they always have. For your peace of mind, full insurance and bonding is carried. "I have a great love and respect for animals; am knowledgeable about their care; am trustworthy, reliable, and experienced; and will strive to keep clients satisfied and maintain the great reputation of I Care Petcare."

Animal Communication and Reiki Attunements for Animals (11/28/10). See Holistic Services for information (bottom of page).

Pet Reiki and Pet Aromatherapy (6/1/08). These two holistic services are offered to ALL animals (and humans), whether or not they are also current petsitting clients. Both modalities help promote relaxation and facilitate healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels and are complements (not replacements) to regular veterinary care. See Holistic Services for information.

No longer accepting new DOG clients or offering live-in or overnight services to NEW clients (6/1/08). I now only accept new clients with cats, birds, and small caged animals. I still provide the same services (including overnights and live-ins) to current dog clients.

Rate Change (6/1/08). Petsitting rates have increased.

Hours of Operation (4/15/06). Once-a-day visits to cats and small caged animals (rabbits, etc.) are done at the time most convenient for my schedule (almost always in the afternoon or evening) as morning slots are reserved for cats on medication and dogs who need the morning potty break. Please keep this in mind when figuring the dates for my first and last visits.
